The SP7 shin pads by Fairtex provide a bit more padding than the SP5 version, which is the predecessor to this model.
Similar to the popular Top King shin guards, The Fairtex SP7’s have incorporated an extra block of padding down the center of the pad, which protects your shins from getting bruised up during hard sparring sessions.
The extra support is nice, as are the modified, stylish designs.
A rather unique feature of the SP7 shin guards is the ability to detach the toe portion from the shin guard portion (in the event that you don’t want protection over the foot).
The straps that wrap around your lower leg are also designed with comfort in mind, and will prevent skin irritation while you’re training.
